So, I’m still alive. I’ve not abandoned the blog or anything, but I’ve had other things I’ve needed to do which are just taking priority over this blog at the moment. I’ll try to update more frequently though from now on. Anyways, here’s a little update to my skincare regimen!
I’m currently using other serum called Phloretin CF, and I’ve been using it for about 1 year now in combination with the advanced pigment corrector.
Both of them contain vitamin C to help boost collagen in the skin and prevent damage.
The Vitamin C serum that I’m currently using is more targeted at clearing up hyperpigmentation and also inhibiting the breakdown of elastin in the skin. This is what keeps things elastic and allows your skin to snap back into its normal position.
I’m on my second bottle now, each one lasts approximately 6 months when I use them every morning, and so although it’s quite expensive, it does go a long way. 🙂
Buying these skin serums can be quite expensive. Skinceuticals are basically a premium brand of skincare, and so when you’re using several of their products, it can really add up in cost. The good thing is that each product tends to last a few months, usually between 3-6 months if you’re not using too much of it.
So although the cost up front is high, over the long period of time you’re using it, it doesn’t seem as bad. And the effects the skin products have had on my skin makes it well worth paying the price. Some people prefer to just make their own vitamin C serum, but I really don’t have time to do that right now.
I just wanted to give you a quick picture update and say that I will be returning to blogging more often soon! If you have any questions regarding the skin products I use, please just send me a message in the contact form and I’ll be happy to answer them! 🙂
