Skincare and Picture Update

So, I’m still alive. I’ve not abandoned the blog or anything, but I’ve had other things I’ve needed to do which are just taking priority over this blog at the moment. I’ll try to update more frequently from now on. Anyway, here’s a little update about my skincare regimen!

I’m currently using another skin serum called Phloretin CF, and I’ve been using it for about 1 year now in combination with SkinCeuticals other skincare product called Advanced Pigment Corrector.

Products which contain vitamin C are able to help boost collagen synthesis in the skin and prevent damage further damage by quenching free radical damage.

The Vitamin C serum that I’m currently using is specifically designed for clearing up hyperpigmentation, and also inhibiting the breakdown of elastin in the skin. This is what keeps things elastic and allows your skin to snap back into its normal position.

I’m also on my second bottle now. Each 30 ml bottle of the vitamin C serum lasts approximately 6 months if I use it every morning. I only have to use a little bit (around four drops), so it a little goes a long way!

However, buying these skin serums can be quite expensive. SkinCeuticals is a premium skincare brand, so if you’re using several of their products, the cost can add up significantly. Not many people are willing to pay hundreds of dollars a year to keep their skin young. The huge cost up front for their products is what turns most people away, but I’m alright with this because as I said, they last about 6 months on average.

The effects the skin products have had on my skin also makes the price worth paying. These are the only skincare products that I’ve noticed make a significant improvement to my skin.

Some people prefer to just make their own vitamin C serum, but I don’t have time to do that right now. If you’re interested in learning how to make one, let me know and I’ll consider writing a post or a video on DIY vitamin C serums.

So anyway, this is just a quick update for today! Please continue to check back as I’ll be writing more content in the near future. I just wanted to post a little picture update and let you know that I’m alright and give you a bit of an update.

If you have any questions regarding the skin products that I use, please send me a message in the contact form and I’ll be happy to answer them! Also, be sure to check out my page on my personal skincare regimen, as I update this more often!
